Online Learning – Raising the Quality

Coronavirus closures gave most teachers only a few days to transition to online learning. Research shows that teachers need a lot of training to do online learning well. The National Standards for Quality Online Courses (NSQOC) has been a benchmark for online programs, districts, and state entities since 2007. There are seven standards for high-quality online courses as follows: A) Course Overview and Support, B) Content, C) Instructional Design, D) Learning Assessment E) Accessibility and Usability, F) Technology, and G) Course Evaluation.
