Why Science is thrilled to announce it’s most recent recognition of our cloud-based learning system.
CTNext, Connecticut’s innovation ecosystem managed by Connecticut Innovations, which equips startups and entrepreneurs with resources, guidance and networks to accelerate growth and success, announced the winners of the latest round of Entrepreneur Innovation Awards (EIA), which was held on Thursday, July 17, at the Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, Conn. Five Connecticut-based companies and entrepreneurs, including Why Science, received $10,000 awards for their project ideas.
“The event drew people from all areas of the ecosystem and you could feel the energy in the room,” said Claire Leonardi, CEO of Connecticut Innovations. “The finalists showed just how diverse the businesses in Connecticut are and provided them with an opportunity to present in front of potential investors, partners, mentors and fellow entrepreneurs.”
The judge’s panel consisted of the following experts: Robin Bienemann, founder and CEO, Crimson Rook, Joe Demartino, managing director, Angel Investor Forum, Seth Feurerstein, co-founder and CEO, Cobalt Therapeutics, Richard Guha, president, Max Brand Equity, and Ripi Singh, founder and president, +4Pi
