A large number of those leading the effort to reform public education attended private schools. Reformers who attended private schools include President Barack Obama, Bill Gates, Michelle Rhee, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, Cathleen Black and several lawmakers who were key supporters of No Child Left Behind.
